A Living Sacrifice
12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
We were given a remarkable lesson today on how we are in fact the righteousness of God. We are through His grace and not by anything we have or have not done. Not by earning it and it does not fall away if we sin. We have been forgiven for sin, past, present and future and the Holy Spirit is with us to remind us that we have an obligation of love to respect the Almighty Father because of what He has done for us through the person of Jesus Christ. We were taught today the when the Father looks at us He sees the righteousness of Jesus Christ and not all of our flaws. It was a impacting thought.
